  • Entertainment activities: Loud music and fireworks can cause noise pollution.

  • Urbanization: Construction of buildings and roads can lead to increased noise pollution.
  • Natural disasters: Strong winds, thunder, and other sounds from natural disasters can cause noise pollution.


  • Road traffic: The motors and exhaust systems of vehicles are the main sources of traffic noise in cities.

  • Air and rail traffic: Noise from highways, railways, and airplanes can cause noise pollution.

  • Appliances: Loud televisions, radios, and loudspeakers can contribute to noise pollution
